Jason, first off, thank you for your previous business with us and your support of our company. To answer your question, yes, we did update the dockBoss air around January 2013. Our first batch had a compatibility issue with certain newer SoundDock systems (specifically, this issue was brought to our attention with the Bose SoundDock Portable). The issue was that it would work perfectly for a few minutes, but it would continuously disconnect.

We were able to resolve that issue with our next batch, and as of January 2013 this issue has been resolved. We have not gotten to test it with a Bose SoundDock 10 specifically, but I suspect this issue has been resolved with that system as well. Regardless, you can return anything you order from us within 60-days from your original date of purchase, so you’re welcome to give it a try and return it if for some reason this issue with the Bose SoundDock 10 is different (which would be surprising news to us).

P.S. dockBoss air is 10% off right now, and we're offering free USPS first class shipping on orders over $35 until 6/3/2013: http://www.cablejive.com/products/dockBoss-air.html

I noticed you said that the Air should work with ALL Bose SoundDock systems (http://blog.cablejive.com/2012/08/10/dockboss-compatibility-help/#comment-1019).

Has something changed between the November 2012 DockBoss Air and the February 2013 DockBoss Air? I had opened a support ticket regarding a SoundDock 10 in December and the response was that it was NOT compatible with the DockBoss Air.

Hi Wil, and thank you for your interest in our products. We aren’t aware of any existing issues between the dockBoss and any Acura CSX systems currently. While the fact that your system locks your controls is concerning (because many systems that require digital audio signals do that also), considering no one has ever reported an issue with that system to us it's tough to tell for sure if it will work or not.

Regardless, all our customers (including international) can return anything they order from us within 60-days from your original date of purchase, so you’re welcome to give it a try and return it if isn’t compatible for you. We are unable to provide return labels to international customers in the event a return for refund is needed, meaning you would have to pay return shipping. However, in this instance, when we process your refund we would also include the original shipping charges you paid to help compensate you for your return costs. If you have any further questions, please let me know.

Hi there, I drive a 2010 Acura CSX and the iPod dock built into the sound system has a female USB jack to plug in a standard iPod cable. I was going to plug in my cable to the female jack and then the dockBoss Air into the cable. Would it be compatible? When I plug my iPhone 4 into the car's audio system it definitely locks the controls and I would like some reassurance. Also, if I return something to you within 60 days will you reimburse the shipping costs to me as well since I'd need shipping to Canada?

Thanks
